I just ordered a cube yesterday, and couldn't wait with testing the coding until my Cube arrives. From this link (http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Draw-Sweet-3D-Graphics-for-LED-cubes/) I figured that I was going to have to use the processing environment to emulate the cube and start coding. But on Windows 10 I did get some errors (opening socket at 188.8.131.52 failed) and after doing some reading in the forum, i am under the impression that using processing is obsolete, and now using particle cli is the way to go. Is this correct? And do I understand correctly that there is no graphical emulator in this case? Any tutorials online on how to start coding for the cube? (I do know how to write code in quite a few languages).
I was hoping to use a midi controller to controll the cube, f.e. starting effects, setting variables (like speed, color, size, whatever) in real time. Any idea of how this could be done?
